I have been thinking about Emergency Preparedness lately in the way of basic supplies. These are some of this things that I have been putting back. Obviously, these are extra supplies, not all that I have. Please comment if you have suggestions of items to add next. I would like to be deeper in certain categories, but this is a start.

  • If you want to go a bit deeper into the medical preps I would recommend some basic surgical supplies. If hospitals are full or they are destroyed in some event... you may find yourself in the company of a doctor or nurse, but no equipment.

Third world countries usually have more than a few knowledgeable doctors or personnel, but NO supplies! How about a few sutures, clamps, surgical knives for major wound repair? Thanks for sharing, it's nice to see people are preparing.

  • @Babeebloos I have added quite a bit of stuff since this video included in several packs of QuickClot for major wounds, additional bandages and wraps, etc. I still need additional supplies to feel comfortable with it. I need some additional basic surgical tools. Back when I made this video, I was getting started with my med stock pile. Thanks for watching!

  • can't hear ya

  • @mkmason2002 sorry!

  • Today, I went out an bought a bunch of the off-brand Hydrocortizone for the kit as well as more bandages and atheletes foot sprays. You may laugh, but if your feet get eat up, you can be in real trouble quick. I have been looking on-line for Triange bandages for Arm Slings and other stuff like that. I also looked at Celox (quick clotting powder for open wounds & holes). It is expensive, but would be worth it if you ever needed it.

  • @centervilletn I would feel kind of funny about taking Cow drugs, but I guess in a pinch, you will do a lot of things that you wouldn't normally do. I would assume that the companies that produce those probably produce the Human variety and have to live up to certain safety standards.

  • @centervilletn What is that and what is it for? Sorry for my ignorance.

  • @jknacasual im going to the co-op to see if i can get my hands on powdered penicillin(bovine)

  • @EIGHTIESmusicguy sweet oil too..

  • @jknacasual narcotics will be worth their weight in gold....dont forget to ad a bottle of white lightning...instead of rubbing alcohol...it can be taken internally to :)
