I've seen this clip from several other places but at 2:50 the aircraft is not only about to fall off but it on fire. You see that guy run up on the aircraft to help the pilot with NO hesitation. That plane could blow at any time and he didn't hesitate. It just goes to show the bravery and dedication and guts these men had.

The pilot at 2:36 still has his external fuel tank, I thought they were supposed to drop them before landing.
