I've got 2 units. It is a great device... Just need a big hardware... and now that Maemo is dead... another good open source OS.
Best OS I ever had on a mobile device, by the way.

I <3 my N900!

@TVfootlint - This is a fantastic phone even with the resistive screen. I've used 3 Android devices plus an iPhone before owning this phone and I have no complaints about the accuracy of this touch screen. It is extremely responsive and the only time I need to use stylus is when I'm viewing a page while being zoomed out and I don't want to zoom in to operate everything.

who says u cant click everything with your finger tip?

well.....(feels like a fanboy)....me :-)
I've always loved pen interfaces. Have you seen the now-discontinued show Firefly? or the movie Serenity? The pen interfaces used by the Alliance are GORGEOUS. If someone took them and ran with them, I would buy one in a heartbeat (-<3

But say you don't long nails. Who wants to carry around and use an annoying stylus all the time?
-
@tvfootlint, in Finland, it works. Capacitive screens can crap out in the cold and don't work with thick gloves.
Even in America, I'm going to buy one (if I can afford a data plan), and I will buy it BECAUSE of the resistive screen. I play classical guitar, and therefore have long fingernails, so capacitive screens can be a real hassle for me, while resistive screens are AMAZING because of their accuracy.

He was a little busy getting rid of the body and concealing his identity with the cunning use of g.l.o.v.e.s.

it's not a phone, it's a network tablet with some phone capabilities.

It's starting to get cold in Finland...
And the screen is resistive, so it works with gloves, unlike the "competition" :)
