man this movie suck! it suck so hard! it´s the worse fucking movie i have seen in years! so the guy is an assasin a thief why should i care about John Dilinger huh? it sucks!

I really, really hated the cinematography in this movie. Supposedly Mann used it to make it make the 30's feel as real as possible, and he doesn't seem to understand the difference between 'real' and 'if it was shot by a real person on a regular camera'. It took me out of it so much, and if he really wanted to make it feel real then he shouldn't have made it feel like a glorified crime epic or have taken so many creative liberties. It's inconsistent.
