Why does islam have punishments for blasphemy and apostacy even today? Why is islam so scared of competing fairly against other religions in the marketplace of ideas? There are no question is islam, those who have them are imprisoned, beaten, killed. There has been no refom in islam ti is still same as it was in the 7th century. You are right, though I'm Christian I know that the fundamentals of any major religion in the world are the same. People choose or are guided to interpret it wrong to serve certain interests...

Moreover your position seems rather arrogant I must say, because you claim to have the answers. The answers you have are the result of your belief but this does not mean they are the right ones. In fact there is never a right answer. It always depends on the question. I am a Christian but I always wonder. I don't think that any religion can cover all topics adequately. I just CHOOSE to believe in Jesus because it suits me as an overall philosophy. Are there any choices in your religion?
