Mario Kart Wii - Online Battles #3 and #4

Time for some Mario Kart Wii battles!!!

Online Battle #3: Thwomp Desert
Battle Type: Coin Runners
Result: Defeat
Ranking: 8th

Everyone has their likes and dislikes about courses in where they want to race and do battle. For me, this would have to be the one that I dislike the most due to the thwomp causing waves and times where I can't reach the item box when I'm really close to it. But the music sounds nice. During the first half of the match, things were looking great for our team but then in the second half, things took the sharpest turn for the worst. We were suddenly bombarded by powerful items which caused us to lose the lead. I was bummed at the fact that I only got one coin but more disappointed that only one of my teammates was also the other racer that got coins for our team. Oh well, a fun battle.

Online Battle #4: GCN Cookie Land
Battle Type: Balloon Battle
Result: Victory
Ranking: First

I think out of Coin Runners and Balloon Battle, I preform much better in Balloon Battle. This battle was where my team totally dominated. About halfway into the battle it looked like half of the other team decided to give up or go AFK. Whenever you play online with other people you shouldn't go AFK otherwise you might let your teammates down. There were two things in this battle that I thought that was really funny, The first, is when I threw that Bomb-Omb and got one of the opposing players. Talk about perfect precision! The second, is when I got hit when the timer hit zero by the green shell. I though that was going to be taken into account for the scores. But, it wouldn't make a difference due to our team having a 20 point lead. Great battle!
