@ Englanistan FFS you troll, youre on every cunting Irish video. The Irish groups of Gaels, that the romans called the Scoti/Scots CONQUERED northern britain. The BRITISH royalty is descended from IRISH monarchs.
Scots were the main reason britain thrived, and they thrived cause they had an ancestrally IRISH Gaelic ruling class. Get with the program, squire.

@Englanistan Fair enough but this doesn't negate my earlier point that he wasn't made king of Ireland but Lord of Ireland or that Ireland wasn't sold. I also think that Adrian VI was probably more concerned about the Irish form of priesthood (family and inheritance based) than the laity.

@Olgasbrain Ireland was legally owned by England, where as the other countries never were, Pope Adrian VI donated the island to Henry II of England in return that they cleaned the Irish/Hiberni people up, as they were recorded as vile filthy lazy people who partook in incest and swapped their wives just like men swapped their horses. - Gerard.

@TheFatalInstinct1 nope he didn't sell it, Henry II wasn't even made King of Ireland, he was made Lord of Ireland (Big difference caused legal problems later down the line).

Ireland was legally owned by England after Pope Adrian IV sold the island to Henry II of England in return that England adopted Catholicism.
