Behind the scenes breath holding. On land Raina's gotten her breath hold up to 2 minutes stagnate- no easy feat for a gal with stunted lungs that's for sure! But doing the same thing under water is not as easy as those other professional mermaids make it look! Raina gives it a shot and soon finds out just how tricky it can be!

  • I hope you are not alone doing this, because breath holding while holding a ladder or a wall is one thing, but be carefull with breath holding while floating : if you loose your strenght while going too far, you will simply not be able to turn around or reach the surface and breath, which have deadly consequences if you are alone.

Good work but be carefull !

  • @grgphotography thanks for the concern, I never practice without someone who is with me, professionally trained, and CPR certified. <3 In fact, I never even go swimming alone even at the pool. Paranoid! hehe

  • U should try again I bet u can do the 2 minutes maybe if u try holding the ladder istead of floating it would be easier.

  • @MRJC2210 it tends to freak passerbys out when I hold myself under LOL

  • I knwo it's hard...but try to relax that tight feeling your chest gets when you feel like you gotta breath or you'll die. you won't. try looking up david blaine for inspiration.

  • @laurag333 I can do it for longer out of the water, but the chlorine in the pool keeps causing allergic reactions :( Im going to try again in fresh water :)
