Rob Vodola and I were fishing on the Kalum River on November 12, 2008. Robby has many different types of fishing rods. The one he was using today is a centre pin float fishing rod.

"Have been casting a spey rod religously for steelhead on the OP in washington . As for a gear rod i have dabbled but am no expert. I am by no means a "purist"
You are definitely the A typical definition of a DUMBASS PURIST! You gotta put this method down cause it pains you to see gear guys catching fish while you hope to even touch one. Read your own comments and see how much of a hypocrite you are, if you got nothing good to say then shut it!

I grew up in MT casing a single hander and guided all of the major river systems with this method. Have been casting a spey rod religously for steelhead on the OP in washington . As for a gear rod i have dabbled but am no expert. I am by no means a "purist" when it comes to fishing my motto is what ever floats your boat, but its just my opinion on center pin.

So Phish what method do u prefer?? can u cast a spey or singlehand??have all kinds of rods all methods

Sweet video! But i loath centerpin fishing.....its like a guy cann't cast a single hander and definitly cann't cast a two hander and is too "pure" to cast a gear rod. Just my thoughts.
