I'm getting ready for this year's Lincecum bobblehead day. This post was very helpful. Do you think lines will be worse this year or about the same? Game starts at 6:05; is 4pm cutting it too close? Also, is there a new bobblehead each year? I love the double cy young one... maybe this year they'll add a ring :)

Then I got there, they told me Lefty O'Doul gate didn't have Timmy bobbleheads. Obviously that wasn't true! Anywho, I got there around around 2:45 I think. By then the line was all the way down to Brannan st. Anywho, I got my bobbleheads at the 2nd street gate and there were TONS left by the time I got in the park.

So far, there has been a different Timmy every season as he is a very popular player. I get to the ballpark about 3 hrs before the first pitch and I've yet to miss out on a bobblehead giveaway. But don't worry, it takes about 80 minutes to giveaway 25,000 bobbleheads, so even if you get in after 5, you still might get one. Good luck!

Same size as regular ones. He just looks smaller because Tim is so thin and he's carrying two cy young awards. If you want to do a simple relative comparison, measure the height of the bobblehead on the YouTube screen with a ruler and compare it to the metal turntable. (turntable diameter is 10.5 inches)

Does anyone else miss just being able to show up 30 minutes before game time and still pick up a bobblehead? Some of us are killing off a whole afternoon to do this.
