An out of the way totally restful place to not only to camp, but also get a mineral bath. I have photos in this video showing Deerlick Springs in its hay day. There is roughly 120 acres of land to hike and explore. Plenty of room for large groups to pick an isolated spot to camp and enjoy the peace of the outdoors. If interested in getting a cabin or a reservation on a camp site call chuck at 1-530-526-0450 for prices and time of year the resort is open. This place at this time in its history is basic, but the cabins are clean and roomy. The rates are very reasonable and they have prices for year round campsites if you want to park a trailer there. Check it out.

  • Anyone... do you have a way to contact Chuck or Kenny? I put a deposit last fall for 2011 year lease on campsite, I need to pay the balance but they vanished!

  • @Chef2day I am assuming you tried the phone # on the card at the end of this video. I will try to get out there when the roads dry out a little. The roads would be a muddy mess right now. I know the women who owned the property was elderly and Chuck said they wanted to sell the property. check in this video in a month or two to see if I have posted any updates on contact information.

  • Looks like a great place, how do they heat the H20? Thanks!

  • Well they have two cement tanks shown in my video and they now use propane instead of wood to heat the water.

  • I love deerlick springs! I was born in May 1974 and was camping there a month later. I spent a month of every summer up there as a kid. My mom camped there when she was a child and her mom camped there as a child. We have very old home video of these special memories. My mom would never have to watch us girls, we would hike all day, play in the streams and hike to the top of one of the mountains to find an old cemetery. LOL Super great memories!

  • Good to see that chucks doing something with the place, it has a great history. Great videos, very informative.
