Denis & Lee Cadorette and Bob and Alice Payette from Seaport Sams joined a group of Quinebaug Travelers, led by Club President Harry Coleman and Wagonmaster Joe Ippi, on their annual camp out to the Pemi Valley Bluegrass Festival at Branch Brook Campground in Campton New Hampshire. This was a "long" weekend, going from Thursday August 5th right through Monday August 9th. Music was performed daily by some excellent Bluegrass musicians and bands in a terrific amphitheater setting under large tents that protected from the sun and elements. The area was serviced by many vendors and the entire Festival appeared to be well run and thought out. This was the 18th annual Festival, and we do intend to go back next year to hopefully repeat this great musical experience.
