To land the plane try keeping a speed less than 150! The stall rule is nullified when trying to land (I think)
I remember my first time trying to land!I had the exact same reaction and I crashed in the rear end of the ship xD At least you hit the hangarship! (Literally instead of landing) That was amusing! :D

Yeah, I was like WTF!! Land!!!! I never had to land in Air Combat! I kinda like it now, after thinking about it!---again, as I said many times increased realism!
