Awesome concept. Though the engine itself looks like it was based on Dragon Quest (the Sound FX came from that game so i'm assuming)

It reminds me Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) more than Earthbound. :P Anyway Dragon Quest and Earthbound are very similar.
