Letter to the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva:

Respectful President Lula,

My name is Jeniffer Jeon, and I am 22 years old.
I'm the first daughter of Chong Jin Jeon, who is currently at the Federal Police penitentiary in São Paulo since July 2006.

I have two sisters, who are 21 and 19 years old. Just like me, there were also born in Brazil.
We only hold Brazilian citizenship.
My mother became a naturalized Brazilian and my father has been living in Brazil for over 30 years.
We, five, are Brazilians in heart and have much pride for our country.

For 10 years now, my father has been paying for a crime he has not committed.
For more than 10 years, my family suffers from various pressures and threats.

Allow me to summarize the case, President Lula:

My father was arrested in Korea for not paying for the cars imported by Asia Motors do Brasil.
However, the judge on call examined the accusation and ruled that there was no crime and my father was released.

Ten days later, my father was accused by the prosecutor and was arrested with false accusations.
Thus, he was imprisoned for 6 months, which is the maximum amount of time, in Korea, for a crime to be proven guilty.
However, since he was proven not guilty, he was accused with another absurd accusation: The capital increase was a fraud.

It is true that there was a capital increase in Brazil.
Yet, how is my father the only one incarcerated while the other 5 people, who have signed the capital increase contract, are never questioned?

The truth of this case has never been revealed.
I believe it is because of the power prominent advertisers have over the media, whether in here or in Korea.

Unlike what people have read in newspapers, my father did not runaway from Korea to Brazil.
He returned to Brazil to resolve the misunderstanding and to prove his innocence.

If there was truly a crime, fraud or embezzlement, it would've happened here in Brazil, since the factory project was in Camaçari, Bahia.
If my father was actually guilty, he would've never returned to Brazil.

President Lula, if my father really planned to fraud in Korea, why would he move his family to live there and risk their lives?
Sir, my father is a victim of a major conspiracy and a bunch of crafted lies.

We just want an opportunity to present the truthful evidence to the Brazilian justice.

President Lula, if my father is extradited to Korea, we know what will happen to him.
He is the living proof of various corrupt activities of powerful people, who are still unpunished.

My father worked very hard in order to achieve his conquers.
He is my hero and the person I admire the most in this world.
For 10 years, my family has been living in agony, without a father and a husband who always dedicated himself to his family.

We want our father back and nothing more than JUSTICE!
Please, Sir, give a chance of life to my father!

Havia também naquela mesma cidade uma viúva que ia ter com ele, dizendo: Faze-me justiça contra o meu adversário.

todavia, como esta viúva me incomoda, hei de fazer-lhe justiça, para que ela não continue a vir molestar-me. Lucas 18:3-5

Continue firme, se achegue a Deus através de Jesus e confie Nele. Eu estarei orando por ti.
