Separation of government and Islam does not work. It did not work during the Great Shah's time either becasue it was put in the constitution that the official religion is "shia esna ashari" and shah was obliged to respect that to go to the Hajj or other shit places of Shia imams.

The ayatollahs had power but we did not feel it until 1979 of course with the help of ayatollah Jimmy Carter (goh beh roohesh)

We can beat religion with "educating the masses about Islam and the history of arab invasion. About nonesensical surahs and veses in Quran which is only good for the toilet."

if you are trying to put islam down you are farting in the wind.what we can realisicly hope for is seperation of islam with the government ,like the way it was during the shahs regiem.we cant beat religion itself,but we can put it back in the masjid.and out of the politics.this is coming from ex muslim and an agonstic iranian americam.with no love for the mullahs.
