I did a quick Youtube search and found there are very little articles on how to organize resistors, once you get into electronics you find out there are alot of parts and there hard to organize this little idea is simple cheap and can work for anyone and is completely modular. This isnt just for resistors but capacitors, transistors, small components theirs an endless amount of ways this could be useful in your shop!

  • Fantastic. Think I'm gonna do the same

  • I think you will find it is a great way to organize any small components, i now have all my transistors and leds and resistors organized in different note books with data sheets in-front of ea part page.

  • Genius! Thanks for the answer I needed.

  • @Lavinco Thank you!, i just finished putting all my resistors in there nd ended up using a 3in binder worked much better and if u have alot of resistors of one kind i found it better to just put them in 2 slots and not just one as they tend to push out if there's to many

  • @DIYElectronics How do you organize your resistors by ohms? What pattern do you use?

  • I start at 0 ohms, and then count up, um for instance, 0 ohms, .5 ohms, 1 ohm, ect all the way up till u run out of resistors. i hope that helps?@Lavinco
