sounds like yngwie malmsteen in deep purple blackmore kicks this guys ass morse plays too many notes without meaning as u2s guitarist the edge said notes are expensive and you should not waste them blackmore plays fewer notes but puts soul into every 1 of them

Sorry I don't care for Steve Morse's guitar tone in DP, even on this, one of his pinnacle performances. It is not raw, or 'biting' , way too airbrushed, and synth-like.

So different than Blackmore played it in 1993, and different to Satriani in late 1993, summer 1994, yet it's still Deep Purple, and it gets better and better. Amazing and beautiful song. I wish they would ressurect this song to their 2010 tour, along with 'Ramshackle Man' from the same album. The title track off 'TBRO' is brilliant too, w. Morse.
