started working last year as easy tech, the job is a pain in the ass, the managers are really stupid, they bitch so much when they have to do any work. as an easy tech, im working a lot more than i really should be. Usually im the only one working, both as a salesperson and tech on closing hours from 6-9 and getting payed 7.86. im happy my co workers feel the same way, any one of us could run the store better than our managing team.
@Sharrar21 Plus, he said he couldn't start me out at more than $7.50 an hour (minimum wage in Georgia where I'm at is $7.55). He couldn't give me over 15-20 hours at most...but in my initial interview, he said it would be around 30 or more. Everyone at the store said he was a "nice guy"...he seemed like a complete idiot that didn't know how to do his job. Office Depot paid me almost $10 an hour...my other temp jobs were $14 an hour. So yeah, I decided not to go with them. Horrible pay and hours.
@Sharrar21 Nope. I went to my interview and the store manager was very impressed with my previous printing experience (2 years at a Print Center at Office Depot and some other temp work in printing). He pretty much all but guaranteed me a job. He went back and forth with me for weeks and couldn't tell me how many hours I would have. He said I was "hard to reach" - when he was the one I was always having problems getting on the phone. He never called me...so yeah, I didn't take it. He's a fool.
I got 1:20 in and realized it's a six min video
