Today Show Part 2: Should You Vaccinate Your Kids

In a segment on autism and vaccines on the Today Show, Dr. David Tayloe, President Elect of the American Academy of Pediatrics, was asked the following question:

"Do you believe that all vaccines should be used on every child?"

His complete response:

"Yes. I think any of the vaccines we have today have been tested and proven to be safe, and the credible studies don't show any relationship between vaccines and permanent injury. So we favor this and we know that unless we have vaccination rates that are in the 90 to 95% range we are not going to prevent epidemics from coming into this country of measles, of polio, from countries where these diseases are still endemic. So its very important that we vaccinate all our children."

That was not true, and there is no way that Dr. Tayloe didn't know that it was not true.

Permanent vaccine injury is medical fact, stated on the safety inserts that come in the box of vaccine, and for which the government pays damages for out of the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program

In history time and time again, it has shown with any major outbreak of a disease, it has led to mass casulties and deaths, even the destruction of societies. Any sane person would take heed. If your willing to play a russian roulette game, with a preventable disease, just remember to keep a shovel handy. We may not have some of these diseases in our back yard but there are still many countries out there who do, international travel could bring it home, to flourish.

@TheJagnz In the 1970's and 1980's the CDC/AAP recommended around 20 to 24 doses of vaccine in the first 18 years of life. There were no major disease outbreaks and no mass casualties.

Today, CDC/AAP recommend 70 doses of vaccine! A child born today gets more vaccines in the first six months of life than any of us did in our first 18 years! And those vaccine now begin on the day of birth!

There is NO RESEARCH on the schedule to see if this is safe to do. None.

It is very nearly 100% according to some studies, but what you are ignoring and what is more important is that fraternal twins concordance is at its highest 23.5% (the same study which said identicals had a 95.7%)and usually 0% according to the research. Those numbers SCREAM genetics.

Doctors need to consider family history...meaning auto-immune disorders! I have been dx with Lupus....later changed to mix-connective disorder. My older brother has MS. Our grandson has Austism. After the age of 18 months....it appeared!

Family history is a part of how a child may react to vaccines! Not so many at ONE time!
