  • @MegaSmud Think of the composition of a standard punching bag versus a human being. A human have nerve clusters that a focused well aimed punch like Wing Chun 's straight punch can hit versus a bulky sandbag with the same density all around and no weak points. Well aimed energy flow does more to disrupt your opponents rythem than a straight jab towards center. And I assume one would use this when they have already broken into the opponents center right?

  • Amazing.

  • @ MegaSmud - that's because that's a punching bag. Human is very different. It's like the concept of boxers who really look good at training drills, but doesn't do good in boxing arena. The snap of the wrist is very powerful along with acceleration of your punch. The same concept is adapted on sports like Badminton and Tennis. Also, very good technique in arm wrestling and the torque punch technique in boxing.

  • Thank you! i've found a lot detailed, important information on your vids that many other sources neglect to mention

very much appreciated (especially bong sao vids, makes a lot more sense)

  • Try this to a punching bag. That kind of straight punch is not powerfull enough, because you can´t generate the hole acceleration force of your body (like in western boxing). A Wing Chun fighter could not make his body to expose, like it´s necessary - it is not allowed.

  • 2:07.. look at those muscles! Scary! ;)

  • thanks !

  • Yo waddup Master "T",

You just pissed off 95% of the McSifu's out there with Truth! For the REAL W/C players out there your just preaching to the Choir, and the sermon is always good to hear from another perspective.

Nice to see your out of the "Batcave".

    5 *'s!

    RyzER
