IBM unveiled details of an advanced computing system that will be able to compete with humans on Jeopardy!, Americas favorite quiz show. Additionally, officials from Jeopardy! announced plans to produce a human vs. machine competition on the renowned show.
For nearly two years IBM scientists have been working on a highly advanced Question Answering (QA) system, codenamed "Watson." The scientists believe that the computing system will be able to understand complex questions and answer with enough precision and speed to compete on Jeopardy!

Is it possible? I think if we used DNA, it would be possible like a human. Because this system should be base on the self-development. but this system is being like that because they use just program and system. But even if that's case, it's definitely a worthwhile try.
I saw this and before i read any postings I thought of one thing,,, Judgment day is near. No one around me sees it they all think that this computer is funny or something. It can think for itself, Any know of two other computers that can think for them selves. I DO HAL 9000 and SKYNET.
