Two Thumbs up Dweeb! ...except for the tire. But the laptop and the food...I say you did the right thing. I was his age once too. I am one that didn't spend my money wisely. I had to learn my lessons. I hope he learns his. You are a great guy for trying to help others, but sometimes people aren't ready to be helped. Take care, my friend.

Don't be hard on yourself about that blown out tire. It happens. I did the same thing hitting a curb. I recently ordered a clarinet. I used to play one until one of my fifth graders stole it about 25 years ago. I hope I can still make a sound with it.
