dude my guess is your game is using 1080p and 1080p is full hd so is the sound youll need to hook your sound up through your white and red lead on that comes with your ps3 for a scart to a hi-fi ; ) hope this helps

Use the original colors that came with the PS3 plug the "Yellow tipped one in the third row the green color in the back of the TV. Plug the Red and White tipped wires on the other side of the third row in the Red and White sockets in the back of the TV."

I have a problem with the video, I have a ps3 slim and i want to play it on my normal non HDTV its a sylvania 27in flat screen but its still a tube tv i get audio but I cant get video any ideas as to why? thanks

@goddesswing I had this problem when I hooked my ps3 to my dell monitor,it bugged the hell outta me.But anyways there are two different types of hdmi cables.1.3,1.4.The 1.3 is the low grade cable only able to handle a certain amount of bandwidth like up to 720p/i.The 1.4 is the high speed cable and is able to handle greater bandwidth than the 1.3 cable and that's up too 1080p/i or greater...3d.Check amazon for the cheapest cables.And DON'T PAY OVER 20-25 BUCKS!
