President Barack Obama is changing how government contracts are awarded and who can get them. The president says the move will make the process more competitive and will save taxpayers up to $40 billion a year. (March 4)

Government Procurement is in dire need of reform. However, it always concerns me that people (whether it be President, or congressman from either party) attack procurement reform without understanding the system. (Which is complex.) The clinton administration? Perhaps you forgot that clinton left office with zero national debt, years before the current crisis. Sir, you better get some facts straight. The current economic situation was primarily caused by the Clinton administration. Clinton authored legislation that allowed banks to start making all of the bad loans that are now going into foreclosure. Until American voters realize what a mess the Democrats have gotten us into, we will continue with ridiculously high taxes, and bloated government, doling out our tax money to people who should not be having any problem providing for themselves.
