Here is a band that proudly waves their Power Pop influences for all to see. On their 2007 release, Kaleidoscopism, Sparkwood practically OD's on Brian May guitar fills and Freddie Mercury falsetto vocals. Oh, the boys in the band have spent some time listening to Jellyfish as well, but the emphasis here seems to be a tribute to their love of all things Queen...even down to the album closing cover of Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy.

Not a lot of video available from the band. I did find one for a track from their Jalopy Pop album, but frankly...it gave me the creeps. Boys, I suggest if you make another video, cast an OLDER girl. This video looks like an outake from one of those To Catch a Predator specials. Let's just chalk it up to an honest mistake and move on, shall we?

Here's a home-made clip featuring Bipolar Coworker and the aforementioned Queen cover. Enjoy!
