I think MC Hammer was more free form. Michael Jackson was a pop locker.
When MC Hammer dances, he hops around a lot. While Michael Jackson slides his feet most of the time. So, to dance like MJ, you need to wear dress shoes. To dance like MC Hammer, you need to wear sneakers.

another person moves are the samew awesome but doesn't bother now to do much of it (he is lot different in music styles as a matter of fact he is a kind of music himself and great influence) is PRINCE

they had both an origin james brown. mj moves are plastic and ballet in pop style. hammer moves are energetic fast and powerful. not mj moves in not as as fast but again ballet moves like fred astair...which is awesome... hammers moves are awesome very difficult this is a complete workout for a person and needs good physical shape crazy and fast and damce... hammer made the top and rap toped... nowadays gangsta shit with no good messages to youth
