Kinect Follow Me Robot

Controlling a robot in the home has often been limited to manual steering with some kind of handheld controller or meticulously pre-programming it with step-by-step motor commands.

While sophisticated autonomous navigation solutions like SLAM are still the stuff of research labs, Harsha Kikkeri of the Microsoft Robotics team has put together available hardware (EDDIE platform from Parallax), with the Kinect sensor and Microsoft's Robotics Developer Studio 4 to create a personal assistant that will follow him around, play music, deliver snacks or just about anything else its robust chassis can carry.

Hack the system, plant untraceable information information ,track targets, have it throw knives at them.. Sure - C'mon everyone, lets get a robot -_- Stupid people, looks like I,robot and Wall-E was right, either way this is just tragic and no doubt there's far more destruction left for human evolution.
