Thanks for posting the whole number here. Amazing how so many of Berekeley's trademarks were already developed by the time of this--his first--film.

First thought when I watched this movie many years ago was how this scene was a textbook example of marketing, as the the swing and jazz dance rhythms of Harlem are cleverly dressed in Texas western gear. This is a excellent way to expand the appeal of this style of music and dance to those in the SouthWest . Ms Shutta's dancing in this clip is impressive. I'm just finding out 20 yrs later that she's the one who introduced "Broadway Baby" in Follies. Good for her!

FYI, this was filmed in Two Color Technicolor in 1930. It has not been re colored.
