Beethoven's Sonata No.8 was named by its publisher "Pathetique" due to its tragic sonorities. While the earthquake and tsunami was tragic, the courageous people are battling ferociously to get their lives back. Fittingly, who could instill an unwavering fighting spirit in music that overcomes a tragic line better than Beethoven, and what better piece to dedicate to the Japanese people than the "Pathetique"?
What a wonderful performance! I am very impressed!

Hi Charlie, wow this is a big improvement over the last upload, and I thought the last upload was great! Your technique sounds so smooth and effortless, and those difficult broken octaves are fantastic! Dynamic contrasts are great. Great job!

Charlie, this is much improved from your last version. Technically, I would say you pretty much nailed the piece, which is quite an achievement for your age.

An excellent performance Charlie. You truly are becoming quite the young master of these ivories. Always challenging yourself with the most difficult pieces that would make the likes of me shudder, but manage to come out of it each time deserving the credits you get. Congratulations on your dedication and obviously tremendous effort.
Lots of love
