@KyleJPie10 Your loss then, as John Arch - in the 80's AND TODAY still has one of the most brilliant voices to ever grace planet earth, and there are many who agree. Jim Matheos wouldn't be "wasting his time" so to speak if he didn't think JA was talented. The resulting project is hands down the best prog metal album in decades.

arch matheos is a masterpiece..arch kicks ass like the old school days,ray alder is still an amazing singer,redemption's new cd also kicks ass,new fates cd on 2012 with ray.arch matheos live in kit fest and who knows where else..i mean..why the hell we fight if alder is better from arch or the opposite when this is one of the most happiest periods for us fans seen the fates community being so active?alder is a god so does arch..RESPECT

@Utubesuxmycock I'm a fan of all those vocalists actually... none of these compare to Warrel Dane or Stu Block... but you know. Though Labrie can be rough.

Also the reason people like Arch is because he's very distinctive... very different as well to Ray Alder (Fate's Warning, Redemption) who replaced him.

But yeah, it is a bit of an acquired taste... certainly can't complain about his ability to hit notes though

OMG! This song is like the heavier, updated version of my favorite Fates song, Exodus, from Awaken The Guardian! Arch's vocals are still incredible, and mixing the classic lyrics from Exodus with the powerful music is like the true 80's prog metal is back, in a way not seen since Night On Brocken.
