Islam is a totalitarian political doctrine masked by its 'religious' cloak. Only accept the word of allah or mohammed as to what islam is or means, not an imam or a nice muslim. Read the doctrine found in the koran, sira and hadith. Any "pick and choose" muslim is considered an apostate by a significant portion of the islamic community. Deception and half-truths are sanctioned (o.k.) when dealing with non-muslims. Jihad may be an internal struggle for peace, but is also violent and covert war.
