This was my favorite soundtrack of all my 8-bit cartridges. I didn't realize it at the time but it was the break beats and the House-esque chord progressions that had me hooked. Listening to it again right now, I'm also realizing how crazy they were getting down on the Bass Guitar.

Good, good stuff. Props to the SEGA Team

ThunderBladeは、ＳＥＧＡの体感ゲームシリーズの中­でも、地味な存在だった。たしか後発にすぐ、派手な「Galax­y Force」がリリースされていたから。

しかし、BGMの出来においては、僕個人としては、このThun­derBladeが、一番のお気に入りだ。

たしかに、SpaceHarrierのPOPなBGMにも感動し­た。でも、作曲者も語っているように、TunderBladeの­BGMには力を注いでいた・・というらしい。

まず、本物のベース（チョッパーも含む）のサンプリングから初め­て、これまでに無いゲームミュージックをと、チャレンジ精神でい­っぱいだったのだ。

だからあんな、変拍子の、Jazzyな曲ができあがった。

注目すべきは、ベースチョッパーのソロ。あの演奏で一気に盛り上­がる。まるでJacoのプレイを聴いているかのようだ。

僕はそういう意味で、体感ゲームBGMの中では、Thunder­Bladeは、屈指の出来だと思う。

Thunder Blade needs to be ported on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 arcade, or Nintendo Wii. This is more popular than Super Thunder Blade on the Genesis.

I'd love to see this version on Wii VC Arcade or some future compilation. It boggles my mind how they ported Space Harrier, Outrun, After Burner and Galaxy Force so many times but not this.

Even seeing the title screen on any classic sega game makes my hairs stand up.

Kids see these games now an think they are crap, as their hand held console produces graphics way beyond this.

This game was impossible for me as a 6 old to complete, but having no "save mode" back in the day, kept you busy or the games would have been completed in a couple hours.

I like the arcade version better than the genesis version because it had better graphics, music, and gameplay, though I like that one too. But the superior graphics made the arcade version more possible to beat.
