Geen leuk ritje. Not a fun ride...

Let op de ondertitels! Zwarte humor in dit filmpje met als rode draad wat er zoal mis kan gaan als je lekker met een groepje velomobielen aan het toeren bent. Een korreltje zout kan geen kwaad... we hebben een leuk ritje gehad, maar met gericht knippen in de beelden, een suggestief verhaaltje en enigszins deprimerende muziek (Black van David Page) kun je de boel behoorlijk verdraaien.

And just when you find a nice new tunnel along the way, it's chock-full of broken glass and (sigh) gets stuck in your tires. It can't get any worse. Beaten by bike riders, it just got worse. I leave my camera in the middle of the street. Nothing even worth shooting there. We've had enough excitement. We're heading home.

The Mango is much better manouvarable in traffic. Both machines have enough storage space in the back, under the seat and to your sides for a solo-tour with a small tent and luggage like some clothing, cooking gear, thermarest and sleepingbag. Packing is best done as seperate items in plastic bags, as that way you can store much more efficiently. Mango has a smaller rear wheel, which means more space close behind and less effect on riding characteristics because of heavy luggage.

I don't race but for over 15 years I've transported my two kids every where in trailers, bike seats, a tandem bicycle and a triplet bicycle.

I want a solo bike for myself and have wanted a velomobile ever since I first saw one. The Quest with the front wheels covered by the body-fairing, how is it's maneuverability in traffic compared to the Mango?

Plus I would be using it as transportation when traveling solo.

What kind of storage space do the two machines have?

I have owned both and they are BOTH great machines. I ride Quest now. I like to race and the Quest is simply the fastest at top speeds where aerodynamic efficiency is the predominant factor.
