Hello Horror Fans!

*No Copyright Infringement Intended - Fair Usage Act*

Here's something a bit different. Had an idea to do a video choosing 11 horror directors, and then choose one film as their best. Very hard when you sit down and try and do it :). Please note I had to limit myself with my choices, so of coarse a lot of directors are left out (Joe Dante, Sergio Martino, Frank Henenlotter etc.). The directors and movies are:

1. Tobe Hooper - The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
2. David Cronenberg - Videodrome (1983)
3. George Romero - Day of the Dead (1985)
4. Larry Cohen - God Told Me To (1976)
5. Mario Bava - Black Sunday (1960)
6. Lucio Fulci - Zombie 2 (1979)
7. Wes Craven - A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
8. Stuart Gordon - Re-Animator (1985)
9. Dario Argento - Suspiria (1977)
10. John Carpenter - The Thing (1982)
11. Bob Clark - Deathdream (1974)

What would your picks be? Hope you enjoy watching.

Music:
Horror Movie - Skyhooks
The Gonk - Herbert Chappell

Thanks for watching!

  • This is your best video so far ;D Keep going!!

  • Thank you very much for saying so :D

  • LOL @ fat zombies :D

Love Cronenberg. My fave would have to be The Brood :) Assault on precinct 13 is by far my fave for Carpenter, same with Phenomena for Argento. I was a bit iffy on Suspiria first time around but it really grew on me :D

  • lol, everyone has feelings - even fat zombies :D

Yes, The Brood is excellent I agree :D. One of my personal favourites too. Assault on Precinct 13 - interesting choice there. Love the film too. Phenomena is one of Argento's must well rounded films I think. Thanks for the comment :D

  • Cool video idea, I would do an update but I think my list would pretty much be identical
