Jennifer Hudson came into American Idol not even close to being one of the favourites, but isn't it amazing that someone who didn't get into Top 3 out of her group of 8, have to get judges to vote her into the Top 12, being in the bottom 2 like twice, and getting eliminated even after a stunning performance is now one of THE FEW recognised American Idol alumni?

Her version had more power but David's version from season 7 was simple but had much more soul put into it. Both are good though.
