This was an annual holiday event (cold air makes for better flights) where we would construct home made hot air balloons and launch (and then chase them). This one went kind of bad as the balance was a bit off and people ended up calling the police when the fuel component fell off saying they saw a basket of a hot air balloon start on fire and then drop from the balloon--I guess from a distance it may have looked like the real thing in distress. Fun times.

Try Hydrogen in trashbags, with a long fuse at the end, reaching in it. At lest it will go bang in the middle of the air.

that is pretty cool but I didn't really like how the person with the camera zoomed in and out so much. Try keeping it steady on one focus then when it is almost a spec zoom in. Try little things like that but for now that was pretty cool.

brought back some old memories...I used to do this in the 70s...now I use helium and trash bags!
