  • @aruizislas Thanks I will check that out! I wasn't aware of Izzy's play style changes...I knew he wrote the song..and seen and can hear slash clearly...I cannot play guitar but have an ear,,can play piano by it! shd say I used to..LOL In any event how cool you were lucky to see them in the hay day.i never saw them live so I am little green right now U dig!?! xD I am keeping faith as I heard miami gig has been announced for oct/11,,,, thanks for he info! ;) I am gonna listen to NT now NICE! :) ;)

  • @jetbirdzme Probably. It's quite notorious, as the Illusion sessions developed, that Izzy's sound became quite more recognizable —'in between country clean and southern rock distortion', as he said in a 1990 interview— than it was in their previous two albums. In fact, you can hear his soloing sound clearly in Night Train: his is the first four bars, Slash's in the last four bars and the ending one.

  • @aruizislas WELL THE GUITAR SPEAKS AND SINCE IZZY WROTE THIS SONG? PERHAPS THEY ARE JUST A LITTLE CONFUSED!! TEEHEE ;-P

  • It's fun to see how many people think that Izzy plays the solo, when it's obvious —the sound and the phrasing— that it's a trademarked Slash solo. And, of course, if you saw him playin' it live on that very tour —the Illusion or the Skin n' Bones— as I did, "you dig what I'm saying".
