  • I directed this! These guys were great and Steve and Sharon took a leap of faith in booking them because it was such a departure for "Good Company". As I recall, we pre-taped this. They were so loud, people from all parts of the station showed up to see what was going on. I loved it. I may have the full performances somewhere. Thanks Husker-Du! I was really proud I got to do this.

  • @carsonkit nice! It looked a bit pieced together after they performed and went up for the interview. That would be some awesome rare goodies for the raw or unedited performances!

  • @elwyn5150 way cool. Thanks for that. I wouldnt have picked him.

  • @thefunboy1 It's actor Harry Dean Stanton introducing The Replacements on their infamous Saturday Night Live appearance.

  • Husked Du was my first "punk" show in about '83 in Minneapolis @ 7th st. Entry. I was a little nervous cuz I was trying to figure out what punk was, was 12 and alienated and insecure. All the kids with the "look" made me feel like a square. Once they came on, though, I realized appearances meant nothing: Grant looked like a hippy, Bob was just wearing a t-shirt and jeans and Greg just looked like a regular guy. The music was so incendiary, so fast and delivered with such enthusiasm...all my ins

  • @sleakitweasel That's brilliant. Your mum has great taste in music. Mine is sixty seven and likes Johnny Mathis. Unfortunately.
