This is footage of the finished Bowie knife that I forged in my blade forging video.
It has a 12.5" long 448 layer ladder Damascus blade, blued Damascus fittings and a mule deer antler handle.

    That's why this steel is made with low carbon and high carbon steels layered together.

    Hard and tough at the same time.

    if you make a metal with low carbon content, but then he would not be a knife.

    Any knife can be bent into a complete circle if it's heat treated right.

  • Damascus swords were very flexible sword bent into a ring.
