  • Wow, wish I saw this b4 I took a weekend cruise up thru Sneedville & Kyle's Ford on rt. 33. I drove rt. 31 a few mons. ago, up over Clinch Mtn from Morresburg, wish I knew about them falls. Sure would have done the xtra few miles to see them. Gorgeous! One suggestion Archie (fm a career pilot), you should swap around the flyin portion of the vid so that you drive thru town 1st. It always make an area more tangible from the air if you have memories of being on the ground. -Sean Plankey, Knoxville

  • I remember Harrison Hardware when I was little. There was a general store located at the end of the building. That was about 30yrs ago.

  • You're the Man Archie! that was awesome thanks!

  • Thanks for the great video, but I wish you would have given a tour of Newmans Ridge, Mulberry Gap, and the beautiful Blackwater (Vardy) Valley, all of which are must-see sites when visiting Hancock Co.

  • Good job! We live on Sycamore Trail in Thorn Hill, about 5 minutes from Elrod Falls.

  • Very informative. Good job.

  • I remember those falls when I was a young boy in the 70's. Myself, My uncle Roger Trent, cousin denny holt and others all went there to swim on a hot summer day. There was no park and I remember it being a long walk back there through the woods. For those that wonder, My Grandpa was Oscar trent and grandma was Mary trent (seal) originaly from hancock county. The maker of this video went to school with my mom Bobbie Trent at duck creek.
