As an Iraq Vet I have to say this because don't study this realm much. The US is not capable at the moment to go head to head with Iran in a land war. I wouldn't bother thinking about it for another.....I'd say 3 to 4 years.

this is great stuff, but it misses a crucial point: driving the price of oil way up and keeping it up is the goal of some very powerful people who have alligned themselves w/ israel out of pure convenience. these people make lots and lots of money, but only when the price of oil is very high.
