In 2003 a gentleman named Moneymaker won the World Series of Poker Main Event, blowing the doors to WSOP glory wide open. Such began the the online era of poker, and its world-wide televised coverage.

    people dont really play, they just go all in with garbage and win...thats not poker at all

  • makes me want to go play poker, but i not so good, then vidio makes me want to learn ,so thats what ill do ,

  • Super job ty, great music, great game! I remember when Mr. Moneymaker won, it's like we all had the same collective thought "I can do that". It's not quite a miracle though. Without the efforts of the Binions and their tournament directors, the great early stars of the game (Texas Dolly, Phil Hellmuth, Amarillo Slim etc.) and the great announcers and their employers (Sexton, Norm Chad, Gabe Kaplan, ESPN etc.), we would still be playing this great game under a velvet Elvis painting some garage.
