I backed Careless Jewel in this race, but feared Life is Sweet. The whole weak that I was handicapping these Breeders Cup races trying to decide who to bet on? I kept coming back to this race and telling myself that I hoped Life is Sweet didn't prove to be too much for Careless Jewel? Life is Sweet had run really multiple times against Zenyatta in California, and had also finished 3rd in the Hollywood Gold Cup against the boys in 2009.

A lot of people wrote off Life Is Sweet in this race...she's been in as deep as you can get in California usually taking backseat to some great mare named Zenyatta. Life Is Sweet was my pick of the day on Ladies Day, and for once I looked like a genius to people I told that she was gonna win.

The exactly the same thing for me i wanted either of them, i wanted sherrifes to get another BC win and CJ was Canadian based so I liked her because of that and because she blew them away at saratoga.

I was rooting for Careless Jewel or Life is Sweet :) I got 'em! lol. I was upset when CJ took the bit in the backstretch. from the time I saw that I knew she was guna fade :( Shame that day she just was ready to role and was too eager.

They should of put carless jewel into a sprint i think she would have done so much better

I'm happy for Life Is Sweet, but very disappointed in the ride for Careless Jewel. Maybe some days they just want to go go go from the start and there's nothing the jock can do about it, but an opening quarter in 23 and change?
