  • @trhummer1 on "2nd inspection" this IS a VII. Check the closeups on the RH pinky and other details.

  • @trhummer1 no MKVI, the bell/body ring has the 3 feet configuration. That started on MK VII's and carries on till today.

  • Shepp = the most delicious blend of Trane and Bean that ever was... however, his music seems to be based on concepts that are beyond his instrument

  • Shepp gave me so much, so many great hours. We've seen this giant lots of times in the Bim house ín Amsterdam. The man is a musical magician

  • It's a tenor sax of course. A Selmer Mark VI played with an Otto Link mouthpiece to be precise. My real question is: who's the pianist on this? Killer track.
