2010 saw Gary Moore make a return to rock music after a long period of time exploring the blues. He was writing and working on a new rock album when all was brought to a halt by his untimely death on 6 February 2011. This concert from Montreux in July 2010 was his last performance to be filmed. The setlist draws heavily on his hugely successful rock albums of the eighties, stirs in a couple of his classic blues tracks with some memorable hit singles and includes three brand new songs that would have featured on the album left sadly uncompleted on his death. Gary Moore was one of the finest and most respected guitarists the British Isles have ever produced. This concert shows just what a talent we will miss.

Tracklisting:

1) Over The Hills And Far Away 2) Thunder Rising 3) Military Man 4) Days Of Heroes 5) Where Are You Now? 6) So Far away / Empty Rooms 7) Oh Wild One 8) Blood Of Emeralds 9) Out In The Fields 10) Still Got The Blues 11) Walking By Myself 12) Johnny Boy 13) Parisienne Walkways

Bonus Features

Four previously unreleased tracks from Gary Moore's 1997 performance at Montreux:
1) One Good Reason 2) Oh Pretty Woman 3) Still Got The Blues 4) Walking By Myself

  • @4everEnglish You don't like the track? I think it's a great return to Gary's rockier side to be honest. I really like it, as do most people who hear it. What is it that you don't like exactly?

  • I LOVE THIS THANKYOU. X

  • hiroshima!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @4everEnglish You are really dumb.

  • @canacourse Big time - Live in Stockholm was definitive Celtic-Rock era Moore. Much prefer the elastic, liquid sound he got on that video as well rather than the straight set up Les Paul sound he has for the Live in Montreaux

  • Having listened to this a few times now. I really like it..

  • @canacourse: I agree with you mostly on the point that he wasnt a great singer--but only as singers go, however we may think of them, but for a guitar player--he was a HELLUVA singer. He didnt measure up for instance to the falsetto-styled '80s metal singers, but Gary did handle his share of Heavy Metal, Blues, Jazz, and Hard Rock vocals. He had quite a unique and rarely copied vocal intonation. Only my opinion...Music only mattering, but that aside, yes sad 2c him in such condition

  • @4everEnglish He was never a great singer but a brillant guitair player. True he was overweight.

  • I ve seen GM live loads of times and wore out his videos & records learning the solos. but the best recorded concert I ever see was "Live at stockholm" Great stuff.

  • can't download it
