  • @specter78 what i can say...i know about peak for a long time and speaking with people they look at you like you are speaking science fiction.

By my side i already bought a country house for a very small money(nobody wants to buy country house today in Italy) with a big piece of groun around ane i am planning to put photovoltaic cells, this is all that i can do, rest i leave to God...bless

  • he best way of transport is teleport :D...but in today reality is far more complex...I would not count on transporting things like today...I would reorganize people to product surviving needs localy...I think big cities will be soon gone...everyone will be a farmer...best transportaion will be horse, second will be your bicycle and third your legs...

I agree that there is going to be really dark time...think about the entire system runing on oil and than without it!....

  • @specter78 yeah, well I plan to prepare and learn what needs to be done and, of course, tell my family and friends.. my concern is that even when it starts to get bad, people will disregard it and miss the point of the problem. They'll think it's another normal recession, that our leaders got it all wrong, that China is taking over, whatever rubbish will help them answer easily what's going on and pass the blame.. It's the dangerous fact that usually the best strategy people have is to hope.

  • @Jonathanio3 So I guess the thing to do is kick back and wait until things get REALLY bad. Maybe then people will start to pay attention.

  • @specter78 Don't be surprised, people don't like to think about these things. It's much easier to assume everything will stay the same, because someone else knows more than you and that someone else is going to take care of it. People can't be helped unless they realize they need help. ;)

  • I can't believe no one is commenting on these.

So shipping by sea lanes is the way to go?

    Just like old times.
