The Rant Request: Exotic Pets

What is the point of sitting here ranting you know jack about? Posting a list that shows exotic pets escape...like all pets do and may bite like capable pets do often too? To just recite the lame-brained dogma and ignorance of the general population? It's absurd, and you're calling other people idiots? This needs to stop. If you don't understand why someone else would want to keep something, maybe you're not supposed to.

It took, I think, less than 10 years of selective breeding to domesticate foxes. But it was still selective. They chose those animals who were more domesticated and let them breed, while prevented those that would not domesticate from multiplying.
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my.
I'll stick to my cute little ferret.

well i really wouldnt call dogs domesticated, they're just really loyal. Dogs love their owner and will do anything for them and if you say sleep here they will.
My parents are Ukrainian and so they take me there every summer to visit my relatives and everything. Most dogs are seen everywhere. My grandparents not exactly took in a dog but they let the dog in their home to sleep and eat however most of the time it is on the street.

I think Rant Requests started with Archfiend's mention of gingers not having souls. :-P
The most fascinating domesticated animal should be the common farm pig. Because once they're loose, they regress back to wild animals within 24 hours. Makes you think twice before getting a pot-bellied pig for a pet.

What happened to your hand?

There's wanting a pet to be loved on... and then there's just plain stupidity.

Thanks for taking my request, Ramsay. You totally nailed it too. Kick ass job. Thanks for the plug too dude.
The thing that pisses me off about these people is the fact that they become so attached to them, and give them names, feed 'em, etc etc, then act surprised when they actually kill or bite someone. Like "Oh, this ALLIGATOR 'bubba' would NEVER do something like that! He's so sweet!" Stupid people. Ugh.
Keep rantin' and rockin' dude. =D
I figured you would also talk about when that woman got viciously maimed by her friend's chimpanzee. Upon hearing the story, I could only shake my head. Her demise could have easily been a avoided. If my friend called me and said, "Hey, my chimp's acting up can you come help?" I would have told her, "I love ya but you're on your own, hun." Mainly b/c I have half a brain to know what a wild chimpanzee's capable of.

@PunkR4wk3r what i would like to know is why someone would ever own a chimpanzee, i mean for christ sakes, they're some of the most aggressive animals on the planet when they reach adulthood.
