  • comptines are a kind of nursery rhyme..., imagine the genius of these two repeated chords.... why didn't someone else come up with this....

    this is the goldfish moment in Amelie the film, and the most intensely sad moment,( as paul expresses here) to which, the music never made it onto the soundtrack, but can be found on tiersen's cascades...

    i encourage everyone one to learn the two chords in the left hand and improvise something majical over it, as tiersen would have wanted...
