superb. i love the references to Film Noir and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
truely a cinematic masterpiece if there ever was one. the sheer emotion conveyed is almost overwhelming.
i also must praise the performance of your lead actor. it's a strong confident performance that places him among the greats such as De Niro and Bogart.
